All suggestions welcome as to how I can keep **><>** cats off the soft top of my car, the local cats seem to find it a nice place to have a nap. thanks.

Cats don't like the smell of citrus - maybe spray on something that smells of citrus but won't cause damage to the roof?

That's the best non-violent theory I can think of!

    1. put it in a cat-proof garage.
    2. get a cover - I think Lidl or Aldi had them cheap recently.

A cat put scratches on the paintwork of my pride & joy - and it was my own cat!

    Water pistol/super soaker.

    Seriously.

This sort of thing (shifting unwanted cats) comes up pretty regularly over on Rec/Animals & Pet Issues, here's a recent thread on the subject-

You could try sticking about if tinfoil on the roof (stuck down somehow) everytime you leave the car. I know that freaks out my cat!!

The gardai wont do anything anyway! Maybe if he doesnt pay his tax he'll get taken away. Try stick a loud exhaust to him. I hate all them night time "cat racers"
