Flickr places Launched

Hi there,
just thought I'd draw your attention to the new Flickr Places - a sort of home page for a place.

If you look at
http://flickr.com/places/ireland/Cork

You'll see that it also displays the most "interesting" photos for that location as well as a couple of featured photographers... (dunno how they are chosen)

Well done to the guys below

Just tried http://flickr.com/places/Ireland and a picture of croker by a certain Mr O'Brien came up, even when he's laid up he pops up.:D


And a certain Mr Grealish is a featured photographer.

Err... anyone notice there are alot of out of place photos.. without looking too hard I've found photos of Mayo in the Dublin group

Off over the bridge with you, and the town you rode in on!

I managed to make one or two, and one of the lads I work with is one of the featured photogs, small world!

I totally forget to geotag my images, must do some to get Galway & other locations on the map!!
