Problem with sound.
running vista 32bit with Sblaster x-fi xtremegamer.
in limewire my music plays fine but when i try to run it in media player it starts ok then starts crackling and then a big bang and shuts off.
i then have to go to the creative consol and change to game mode/ entertainment mode to get it back.
this also happens in games (half life2) where i lose sound totally(crackling followed by bang) whch comes back after a few minutes smetimes and goes again once a new level loads.
got new drivers for the soundcard but still no good .
btw i have installed a logitec g15 keyboard recently which has a media console if this is any help but i tried uninstalled its software with the same result
