    Are jockeys allowed bet on horse racing? Either in general. i.e. they cannot bet on any races in any country at any time??? Or they cannot bet on races in which they are jockeys? Or in the jurisdiction they are working in that particular day/week/season?

    Or is it that they can bet on any race in any country at any time without a problem?

    They can't gamble on horse racing full stop.

    Robert Hall tells a lovely little story about talking to the late Scobie Beasley’s wife a few years before he died. (He died in 2006 aged 92). He asked her, “Does Scobie ever have a bet on the horses” she replied “oh no, he hasn’t bet on a horse since he gave up riding”

    Jocky's are of course not allowed to back on horses.
