    Hi Guys,

Just about to move into my apartment and need to buy 2 LCDs, one for the sitting room and one for my bedroom. I will have NTL Digital SD installed so should I really be splashing out on the Samsung LE40M87BD Full HD Ready or just a normal 720p LCD? I've read that SD on full HD LCDs are quite poor quality? Will also be using the one in my room as a PC monitor. Also reason I'm thinking of buying 2 Samsung M87 is that I can get them for just under €1,100 each delivered, so they are a great deal.

    Any thoughts or suggestions?

    Cheers

    Hey,
We just got our Samsung M87 and its awesome.
It is full 1080p, and watching blu ray films on it makes dvds look average!

With regards to standard definition, you are right, SD does not look as good but thats only because the picture is being stretched. We have Sky digital and the qaulity is very good on this particular set and when more HD sources become available you will start to see the reward.

At 1100 its a bargain! When most stores have it around 1500 bracket!
