    Hi,
Thinking of buying this mp3 player in the next few days (30gb). Looking for a quick run through of any pro's and cons people have experienced with it pretty please.
    Thanks!

It's rather similar to the Zen M but with a focus on video playback as
opposed to the M's slant towards music.

    Pros
Great codec support for video playback
Can connect to TV for video playback - remote available.
Battery is easily changed/swapped and you can buy spares. (Ideal for flights)
    Drag and drop
    Decent sound quality.
    Good customer service/support from Creative

    Cons
It's a tad dated at this stage
Not the most portable of devices for 'music on the go'

    In summary, I like them

Thanks loads for that Gran Hermano!
...could you possibly recommend another player with similar pros you listed above.
Definitly looking for drag and drop.
    Good sound quality
    30gb
Option of adding an SD card would be great too (like the W).

Also, is the W very plastic-y? I've used the M before and didnt like the plastic-ness of it. Loved my old Iaudio x5...until it died :(

    Thanks for your help! :)

Review and video clip for the Zen W.

I wouldn't describe it as any more metallic/less plastic than the Zen M
    - chances are if you didn't like the design of the M you
will not like the W. Pity as the Zen M itself offers both great video, music
and portability. The new Zen is a nice machine but the lack of TV out
is a serious loss over previous models.

Have you looked at the Archos 605 range? They are not as portable
and you'll have to purchase the plugins for codecs separately but they
    are a more modern design.

It all depends on how portable a device you want and whether you're using
for video or music the most.

    Thanks for that Gran Hermano.
Yeah I've looked at the Archos range a small bit. To be honest I havent heard much about them but read a few reviews etc on the net and checked out some prices.

I'd want a player mainly for music. Want to get a good one and hook it up to some good speakers in my room, and also obviously use it when Im out and about too.
I also want it for storing pics. I never used my iaudio for watching videos but I might use the new one for that deciding on which one I get.
    Hmmm...
