It seems the pricing model used by budget airlines in Asia,
    is much different from europe..
The price seems fixed.. doesn't vary with date..
I looked at flights with cebu pacific in the philippines,
for next year, and checked for next week and the price
    was the same..

    Can anyone confirm this ?

If so I'll leave my flight booking until I'm there :-)

I have flown with Cebu Pacific many times. They are an excellent airline and I suspect they are modeling themselves around the Ryanair business plan. They have brand new Airbus aircraft.

The prices don't vary much and once it has been converted back to Euro there may only be a difference of five or so quid.

Where are you going may I ask?

going to Hong Kong with oasis,
then Cebu with cebu pacific for 1-2 months diving around Philippines
    then Indonesia for same
    then Bangkok before home again..
Was gonna book these flights now but it seems there
is no great advantage to it..
Might as well just book em when I'm there so I'm unconstrained..
It's a strange business model. Any other airline I've heard of vary
their prices greatly.. especially closer to the date of travel..

    Thanks for the feedback
