bump, does anyone even know dublin based bands who have a bassist who plays a rickenbacker. Ricks have a unique sound that I need to capture for a paticular track.I've tried the music hire places none of them have one, thanks in advance.

Your best bet is to find someone with a RIC to lay down the tracks for you.

I know the bassist in the Knackers has a RIC, you could contact them on Myspace and ask. He's a nice chap. :)

Nope, they're Irish well actually half the band is Italian and half are Irish. :D You should find them at myspace.com/thenackers ;)
