My arrow rest keeps moving, anyone know any way of stopping it other than putting on the button with a pliers?

What kind of rest is it.

All ya need is a bit more friction between the rest and the riser. Maybe one of the double sided sticky bits from those cheap white plastic rest ya get. There should be some of them lyin around your club.

Although this will mean havin to move you button out to compensate for the thickness of the sticky stuff.

Just an idea. It's what i'd do.

Presume it's one of the universal wrap around rests being held in with your button.

Either something sticky between the arrow rest and the bow or even something like string wax which is easily cleanable off things. It stops most threads unscrewing like stabilisers and sights but not sure how it would work on a rest

I was a long-time proponent of wrap-around rests (namely the Spiga), but eventually stopped using them due to their over-complexity. I now use the Cartel X-Pert rest, as it's simple, cheap, and comes in different colours.

If you're feeling rich, a Japanese company called Asahi makes some nice stick-on rests used by pros around the world.

    Try the X-Pert.

I use the x-pert but looking for a change as it's non adjustable and use beiter nocking points which means if it is a bit off I have to reserve the whole string to move the nocking point to the right place.

Works well apart from that. Stick on the rest and that's it
