The last release of Firefox, firefox 2, auto loaded on my pc and badly messed up online viewing of video.Basically now firefox doesn't show any video's at all,i just get a black box, when I click it it opens media player but doesn't play, I have to use IE to view any video. Now firefox want's to download version 200.9 (I changed my auto load settings)does anyone know if that version has any issues i should be aware of. I couldn't find a fix on mozillazine for the original problems, which actually started with me losing my internet connection completly and having to replace the router,I don't want a repeat performance.

Had the same problem. Then I downloaded http://www.videolan.org/. It has a firefox plug-in.

    Should solve the problem.

I used to have that issue with MP11 and XP with streaming feeds not loading but an upgrading to Vista fixed that. Not sure whether that's been remedied yet but in my opinion MP11 isn't that optimised for XP as of yet (widescreen streams would never work properly for me). Firefox 2.0.0.10 was released yesterday so maybe that fixed something

Today i downloaded FF 1.011 along with flash, quicktime and shockwave.By clicking the blackbox i can now see the video in mediaplayer which I couldn't before, which is something I suppose.I'd give an arm to go back to ff 1.5.
