    Curious if anyone else has experienced this.

    In the last fortnight I've been contacted by two women, one of whom I knew and would chat to online now and then, the other contacted me through a dating website. Both were basically offering their sexual services.

    As I duly informed them both "Padraic Don't Pay", but I was surprised at this. Having zero experience with prostitution I've no idea how/where people go about finding it. But this particular method of seeking out "Ideal" punters actually made a lot of sense to me, (whilst also disgusting me to my core :p).

    So has anyone else been approached in this way?

    There has been a spate of such things happening on dating sites from Ok!Stupid to lessbefreinds, they check out the profiles and see who has not been on dates and make offers.

    Aww and here I was thinking that it was my sexual charisma :( I mean it made perfect sense that wimmuns wouldn't want to expose themselves to my cold unfeeling rejection and so would offer themselves as a commodity in a bid to save their pride.....or something....it sounded great in my head :p

    I think I'm just shocked that one of these girls actually knows me, and she thought it was perfectly fine to offer herself to me in a fiscal exchange. I'm a tad weirded out, and that takes some doing.

    Yeah had come accross dozens of those free webcam things where someone contacts you and all you have to do is register on their site and pay a fee to see them on camera - No thanks.

    It certainly can be a shock to find that someone you know has such differing morals then what you expect.

    Or is it the disappointment that you would have went there if there was not a fee and no you never will because she does/has charged others ?

    I think it's more the fact that she obviously assumed I'd be willing to pay for it,which to me is fairly offensvie since if you're at the stage of having/choosing to pay for it then you're really letting yourself down.

    How did she broach the subject of payment?
    I assume she didn't just offer you a quote out of the blue?!

    well, if you think about it, its probably cheaper then going on an actually date with taxis, dinner, drinks etc. you could be on to a good thing there
