Know this isnt a medical board so i dont want medical advice, just to see if anybody has had a similar situation.

Recently went on the pill for the first time and started my second pack today. four days before the first pack finished (last thursday week ish) i got a period. I finished the pack but have been having the period since which is well over a week. Just wondering if this has happened to anybody else, none of my friends on the pill have had this problem especially those on microlite which is what i am on.

I am going to go to the doctor again to discuss it as im not happy but wanted to see if anybody else has had this problem in case the doctor says its normal, at the moment i cant see how it could be normal

Wait a few months for it to get regulated I'd say.

    Hi
This is probably hormonally related. If you missed some pills in your last pack, or took some antibiotics, this can interfere with the way the pill works, and cause an early 'withdrawal bleed'(which can be surprisingly persistent). Also same can happen if you don't take the pill at the same time every day. It's worthwhile giving microlite a go for 3 pill packets. If the problem is still hapening, you need to see your doctor, might need a change of pill with a different variation of hormones in it, which can deal with these sorts of side effects.
PS however if you have gotten any symptoms like bleeding after sex, you need to see your GP for a check up.
    Hope this helps

    :)

    Go talk to your Doctor.
    We cannot give medical advice.
You were already told that in PI.
