what is the minimum legal thread depth on a motorbike?

    It's 1mm for bikes, 1.6mm for all other vehicles. The link to the law on the government site says that :)

    You'd be mad to drive with 1mm on the tyres.

    maybe they changed it but it used to be a visible thread covering the tyre with no bald spots for mopeds

    You'd be mad to drive with 1mm on the tyres.

    You should have seen the Dunlop 220's I had on the old SV.
    19500 km from new and including 1 trackday.

    Squarer than a square with a flat spot.

    Nowhere near that on the new one, BT020's and their dual compound are still squaring off even in this weather.
