Hi, I have a Sky Eye thingy that works fine most of the time. But the first time I use it any day it seems like it doesn't work properly. If I put the remote up close to it it works fine. I'm normally about 3m away from the Sky Eye. After a few minutes it works fine. Even when it isn't working the red light is flashing…

Hi,

Even when it isn't working the red light is flashing like its receiving the remote signal. Just wondering if this is normal ?

Sunlight could be affecting its performance. Try darkening the room next time and see if the problem persists from your usual distance of around 3 m.
