ipod with broken screen

it was in under the seat of my scoote and got battered around the placem i reckon when i connect it up to a computer it shows up but the backlight is gone, but i can still make out wat is says ont he screen, but its no longer color, i tried getting into my music before the battery went dead, and i just kept getting the…

i tried getting into my music before the battery went dead, and i just kept getting the apple logo on the screen for a brief moment and then the screen went blacnk again, any ideas wat might be going on!?
