ebaybanned is a spamming b*stard. Very few of the lads are going to buy from him after his nonsense.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,414 ✭✭✭kdouglas

now now hivemind, play nice :)

whufee: yup, seen ebaybanned a while back, there was an incident on boards where he signed up and sent pm's to pretty much everyone that is a regular on the airsoft forum, he was swiftly banned (love the irony) from boards for this activity

HOWEVER.... i have to admit that myself and johnny from the ghosts ordered a bunch of multicam kit off him, as have several others afaik and his service is very good and the quality of the kit is excellent, that order was before the boards spamming incident, but i wouldn't hesitate to order from him again

Way to make me feel like I'm not part of the team! I never got a pm!

I saw his site a while ago, I'm waiting until the new year to get a bunch of multicam and a few others.

Just joking man, besides, I would have considered it junk and deleted it without knowing it anyway

Bought some multicam off him, he sent me out the wrong size :(
So I got on to him and he sent me out another set in the right size at no extra cost :D
    Great service!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 40,291 ✭✭✭✭Gatling

and i bought the first lot of multicam he sent chalky so ,he helped kit 2 airsofters in multicam for the price of 1:D:D:D

well i am thinking of some of his multi cam stuff as it happens and i did get some of his kit from ebay , i assume the non banned stuff. the ole shipping free is a bit of a red herring tho...

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 2,502 ✭✭✭defenderdude

I got a load of multicam from him.
Shipping is built into the price.

I have to say he provides a very good service and the quality is excellent.

I was looking at that site last night, looks like they have good prices and a great range of stuff aswell.,

I can see myself ordering some red dot scopes etc off of him...

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 128 ✭✭whufee

thx for ur tips, i have no clue what he did before, hope he is not going to do it again, (i have couple of chinese friends, working for 14K, if it happened again, haha....) but we can only buy some cheap stuff, say under 100 dollars, if anything goes wrong report immediately. and always share informations about seller's reputations and costs
but one thing i have to say is, the shipping method he uses is EMS, a slow but good way, cuz it is unlikely to be hold and charge for $@#^&&*( ......

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,414 ✭✭✭kdouglas

i find EMS to be pretty good, generally stuff arrives withing 5 working days

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 1,314 ✭✭✭Fiach Dubh

I always use EMS too, they always get the package to Ireland quickly. It doesn't always get to me quickly but that's An Post, not EMS.

Have had 3 orders from him no problems and if you e mail him he will give you a tracking number. As already said all his prices include shipping and I will use him again.

He sent me spam email a few days ago as well. I had created a userid/password on his site and was going to order from him, but then he spammed everyone on boards. I never gave permision for him to email me advertisements.

I'm still not sure if I want to order of someone with such dodgy advertising practices.

He (apparantely) has now removed me from his distribution list, but it seems to be an opt-out rather than opt-in list.

Yeah, bit of pain in the ass it seems. Maybe somebody should email him a link to this thread, maybe he'll change his "techniques".

Quick question, how accurate are his sizes for combats?

    good point crazy....

also if you compare to some of the 'multi camo' on ebay (what they seem to call the fake stuff)

the uniforms come in at 47 including shipping versus his 48.50 so not much of a difference there. there are some cheaper ones as well.

his water carriers are 28.50 versus 22 on ebay (inc shipping)

he does have some good vests tho

so the much vaunted included shipping and ebaybanned is not really true

all the above is in dollars btw

he has a good delivery record

i noticed someone said the postage is included, but is that included for ireland of just for america? (or wherever hes located)

Nope but I got this one from ebaybanned http://ebaybanned.com/product_info.php?cPath=32&products_id=51

Works well on my own G36. Shipping is included with the prices. I found the shipping a bit slow around 2 weeks but communication with Paul was good.

Its a copy of an Aimpoint sight. Its unmagnified, red dot only with variable levels of brightness. The glass is clear when viewed from the rear and has that reddish mirrored finish when viewed from the front. Comes with trademarks and all.

Some pictures attached apologies low quality from camera phone :o

kinda sits higher than i thought it would, is it easy to use with the position, ie can you get your eye close enough for it to be comfortable.,
wonder if its possible to reverse the mount? or would that make the sight aim too high.,
    cheers,

    cheers,

Skirmished with the sight in this configuration the other day. Easy to zero in. Getting close to this scope is not an issue (i.e eye relief not a problem) red dot scopes such as these can be used with both eyes open and with your head as near or far away as is comfortable. Thus they facilitate quick target acquisition. There are aimpoint mounts available which sit lower on the rail if that is your preference but I like this offset mount.

Would not reverse the mount it as I think it would look a bit weird but thats only my opinion.

I have seen sights such as the one you are looking at and they are also very good I will probably pick up one at some point as I need a smaller sight for my MP7.

I'm actually gonna order that one you were looking at sometime before xmas

How do you track items shipped by Paul? He's given me a T&T ID, but I've no idea where to punch it into. I've tried An Post's site, no luck. I googled "EMS tracking site" which linked me to a site with lots of links. The "Shipping to ireland" link just sends you to SDS, which sends you to An Post.

Or do you have to wait for it to get into the country before you can track it?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,319 ✭✭✭Miscreant

I got one from him today as well. Try www.hongkongpost.com. There is a tracking section there. This is where I put tracking numbers similar to the one he sent me before. Hope it works.

    I used
    http://www.ems.com.cn/
but from memory I think it disappears until it reappears in Ireland and can be tracked through An Post.

I guess it's just off the map till it hits Ireland. Hmmm... patience, patience, patience...
