Ok basicly the story is that whenever im trying to see a flash component on a webpage, where the video is meant to be im told i need to install flash. So i click on the link to install it off the flash site and i install it.

Everything goes peachy and it says that it was sucessfully installed and that i must restart all instances of internet explorer do this now, yes, no? I click yes and it closes and reopens inernet explorer. However when i go trying to view anything with flash it just says that i need to install flash again!!

Ive tried restarting my computer and clearing my cookies and everything but nothings maing a difference, ideas anyone?(running vista btw)

Take note of where it is supposedly installing it to during the installation. Go to that folder and there should be a Setup.exe file. Double click it and let that install. Should hopefully sort your problem out. Had to do it myself.

I honestly can't remember I'm afraid. Try installing again but watch carefully what it is doing.
