    I am looking for a freeware prog to monitor downloads. My broadband give me 10 gigs a month and I want to keep track of it. Tried googling but no success

    10 gigs is a lot but I do not know how bigb you tube movies would be

    Free version allows you to monitor your usage.

    Also your ISP's website should have an option to check the usage on your account

    I prefere DU meter. You can even set in a limit and it will notify you when you are comming close.

    Also, 10gb is a tiny ammount. for normal net use and gaming i will hit 1gb a day easy. Then throw on top torrents ands newsgroups etc etc.

    I dont game so it would be more to me, though not, as you say, a lot.

    If you use Yahoo widgets, the 'Network Interface Statistic Monitor' widget does a reasonably good job.

    It's very basic but it keeps a record of your previous daily uploads/downloads in a HTML file that shows your daily stats & totals them up for the month.

    I used this and could not get online with Broadband?I had to exit and end it as a service in task manager and then my internet connection worked fine
