    Hi

I'm looking to book flights from Dublin to Las Palmas (Gran Canaria) from Jan 1st and returning 8th.

Am I right in assuming that Aerlingus is the only option here? They're sold out for the 8th and any that do come available will likely be a fortune...

Can anyone help, is there even a way of being put on an aerlingus cancellation list?

I already told my seven-year old we're going - Worst. Dad. Ever. :(

Spanair fly the route so check them out. (www.spanair.com)

I think Thomsonfly from go from Belfast - they used to - so that might work depending on where you are. (thomsonfly.com)

You'll probably end up paying a lot, no matter what, at this late stage. You might have to consider an indirect route

Thanks for that, but unfortunately not  - My daughter's got school (and, less importantly, I've got work :) ) otherwise I'd stay til the 12th in an act!

You should check out http://www.skyscanner.net , its a great site for finding flight options/prices.

Never went through the booking process with them before, but you could use it to find the price and then go through the airlines themselves to book them, if you are nervous of the site.

Also as suggested above try spanair
