So I was reading some posts over on MAP and I came across the WAMMA. What are peoples opinions of this? - www.GOWAMMA.com

    Lets start the debate.

It seems to me that it's just an attempt for some guys to try to make some more money because there's no way anybody's going to be competing with the UFC anytime soon. I read this article last night which indicates that the guys involved in it all seem to be legal or business men who are friends with each other: http://www.mma-analyst.com/post/World-Alliance-of-Mixed-Martial-Arts-announces-their-structure-and-intentions.aspx

Their rankings system is interesting, but still, who's going to have them sanction their events?

EDIT: Dana White has said he's having nothing to do with them, so that already basically means that they're not going to have much power in MMA

they bring nothing new to the table effectively.Dana wont like it so they will end up as just another lower tier promotion.

Fightlinker hates the idea, and he makes my decisions for me so...
