My favorite menu is transparent. When I click on a shortcut in faves the link behind it opens. What can I do?

    Thanks

is that not what favourites are meant to do?! "When I click on a shortcut in faves the link behind it opens." me too!
the transparency is maybe something to do with the vista aero interface, that is if you are running vista?

No sorry, I mean that I have boards as a favourite. If I click on boards and the page underneath where the fave menu drops down has a link, right underneath boards shortcut, I go to that link. So:-

    Google is my home page
Boards is a shortcut on the fave menu
Click on boards and I hit the link images over the google box and I go to google images
    Very annoying
Also I have to click on faves several times before it opens, it flashes open and closes again
I have Windows XP Home SP2

    Thanks

Yes it is hard to explain! Also when I switch between pages sometimes I have to close one before the other will open

I have google open reduced boards open
Click on google to switch to that page
But have to click on the - to the left of the little square/x at top right

Think my browser might be ******* up I have IE 6 still as 7 would not work when I installed it

    Thanks quaidox

have you tried going to the http://support.microsoft.com site and downloading and installing any updates that might be available to you for ie6? That might rectify the problem.
Or else you could always install firefox and import your ie favourites from ie when installing.......
