Ok....so i stupidly ran some file I had downloaded using Limewire. I know I shouldn't have, but I thought it was something else and now everytime I open my internet brower another window opens up....you know the usual advertising a casino etc etc. ANyway then down on the bottom right of my screen (where you'd normally see your printer, say for example) a 'Ad served by Context Tool'.

So then I decide to down load a spyware program to remove it . I firstly installed 'Noadware' , this came up with 73 infected files, removed them all...but I'm still getting the pop ups.

Then i install Spyware bot, which says something similar and removed infected 'parasites', bugs etc etc.

But its still happning and worse yet i've since read that spyware bot is as harmful as some of the infected files that i've already got. Its basically a scam??

So i've spent about 70 Dollars, and still have the origingal problem of the pop up ads.

Now, i've since UNINSTALLED both NoAdWare and Spyware bot.

can anyone help?

well thats what i did orginally and then i downloaded two crappy programs costing me money that don't even work. so to me, it is hard.

so i run this and source what the corrupt file (s) is. Then I delete them / it?
