    Read the nominations thread.

Mike said they shouldn't because they don't run Tournaments outside B&M's any more.

for future polls maybe you should announce a time for the poll to close. It could be controversial otherwise if two nominees are very close and keep passing each other out.

neill and jp both run excellent events and i cant fault either of them.
toss up for me, but cause im in waterford and really enjoying the weekend, ive voted for neill.

I've also voted for Big Slick. but its not based on just this weekend. I knew before this weekend that Neill would get the vote and this weekend just confirmed it. Really top stuff as always by his crew.

JP also runs some amazing events with super structures and is not far behind BigSlick in terms of what it takes to be tournament organiser of the year, but i think Neill is still head and shoulders over his competition.

I just feel that the extra effort Neill puts in by bouncing ideas off his punters before he goes through with them, the buzz around his tournaments, the "no expense spared" presentations, the professionalism of Laura and the dealers, the ease at which tables are broke and players moved thanks to his floor staff and i could go on but dont want to sound like he paid me to say this!

Neill has so much faith in his staff that he can delegate so much of the work, which leaves him time to concentrate 100% on being TD and running the mic.

    Gis a job :p

I should have, and will in future. Thankfully it doesn't look like it will be too controversial this time.

I will close this Poll tomorrow Tuesday at 13:00 when I open the Poker Room of the year Poll.

So you all have 1 days notice to Vote. I think that should be sufficient and is fair enough.

havent played a jp event but from all reports he runs a good show, but after the weekend in waterford and also the previous events this year i have ta vote for neill and the crew. What a mental weekend with top quality poker to boot..But i think all the dealers should be sacked for the ammount of times aces were cracked, lol...

It was about 23-22 before Waterford I think! A lesson there for all aspiring politicians.

Yes the Big Slick festival with 180k worth of prize money was obviously planned for this time on purpose to win an internet poll ;).

JP hasnt had a major buy in tourney to the best of my knowledge so the vote had to go to Big Slick really with their Team Event and two 500 games, next year should be interesting with lots of tourneys planned by everyone.

LOL i couldn't agree more. I also voted for Big Slick, i have only played in Neils 2 €500 events, both were excellent festivals.

Job well done, congrats to Neil and all at Big Slick.

I played the team event and this weekend's tournament and I have to say any Big Slick tournament that I have attended has had a fantastic atmosphere (as in probably better than the WSOP) and is really great value for money.

voted for bigslick even though I've a thumping headache after having to listen to Kelly's constant dribble on that booming mike for the last four days. I also agree with all the sentiments re JP

You all have just under 2 hours to get your Votes in before the Poll closes.
