PC shuts down under one user account

    I have an odd problem with my Pc. It shuts down for no reason when logged into one user account. But this does not happen when logged in as other user account.

    Check if there is a logon script setup to shutdown the PC???

    Is the PC on a domain?

    No but it is in a workgroup of three computers

    Also worth checking the powersave/hibernate settings for the user account that's causing problems. (You'll find power options under the Display properties - under the Screen saver tab). Anyway worth a quick check.
