Does anyone have any recommendations as to where to get an Nvidia 8800GT 512mb card at this point in time and also where would be the best value?

It seems to be completely sold out of Komplett at the moment unfortunately.

Don't even mention overclockers as they messed me around and I just cancelled my order with them. They had it in stock, charged my card, then had a problem with the order (after charging my card!) and suddenly were out of the stock by the following day and its back on pre-order for some distant future time. I won't be dealing with them again after that.

Any other recommendations would be welcome.

    Thanks.

Yeah ebay is your best bet...

Price seems to have gone up on them too, they where €220 when I first saw them now €250 everywhere...

I have ordered the 256mb one from komplett for €180,for a pc im building to sell....looks a steal at that price, only 6 days to go too...

Ive seen benchies and there is very little difference between the 256mb version and 512mb at resolutions below 1440x1024,with just a few frames in the difference at 1680x1050...

Seems the perfect card for people who dont have quad cores and just want to play Call of duty on there amd 3800,P4 3.4ghz etc

The 3850HD is good value too....

There's none in stock at the minute but Elara.ie sell some at decent prices and you can collect the item in Dublin for free. [Link]

I don't know anything about Hardwareversand.de but they have some decent prices too if you're getting a few things (delivery to Ireland is €30). [Link]
