Konica Minolta 5D Problem

    Hi there

    Wondering if anyone else has had a similar issue. I've had a KM 5D for a couple of years now so it's out of warranty. On holiday in France and walking around Monaco GP circuit when it happened first. Basically, on startup, there is a vibration from the body for 3-4 seconds and when the shutter button is depressed, I hear the autofocus sound, but it won't take the picture.

    Eventually, it rights itself but the problem happens again intermittently and always at the most inopportune moments.

    Would like to know if this is a known issue or a sign that it's on the way out?

    Baz,

    Just saw you post there. Was thinking does this happen with both your lenses or just the wide angle? Might be a lens compatibility issue. Sometimes happens.

    Thought about that, but happens with or without a lens.

    Will ring them and see what they say then. Keep you posted.

    BTW, got the Media Vault working - just stuck it to the router downstairs...
