    I'm in a long distance relationship with my girlfriend. we see eachother every other weekend. Lately after we have sex i have been developing an intensively itchy red rash between the base of my penis and my scrotum. it goes away after 3 days or so of obstainance.

    i've talked to my doctor and he says its nothing. it might be caused by friction of the condom.

    However it can be very itchy and a little painful when the skin is raw.

    Has anyone ever had this ailment and how did you conquer it?

    I've used condoms all my adult life, so i'd be surprised if it was an alergy.

    Allergies can suddenly develop.

    To be honest, I'd seek a second medical opinion.
