I remember one year he was picked up a Homer Simspon toy, and he kept referring it as Bart. Talk about being out of touch with popular culture

Thank god I'm not forced to sit through that crap anymore, all those smiley super happy billy barry w*****s used to do my head in when I was younger.
Another thing, ok I know the kids would be scared being on television and all but why did they always have kids who were either as dumb and a box of rocks or obnoxious little $#!t$ showing off the toys?

toy show used to be the biz

I was actually going to say that but then I thought I'd get some reverse snobbery slagging. That's exactly what it is. Mammy and Daddy pay Pat a few grand so little Girvan and Sorcha can get their mug on telly and the parents can brag about it in the yacht club at the weekend.

Due to budget cutbacks the pole is being replaced by a plank.

    lol... that'd be funny.
Yeh they're so strict on the show, toys aren't allowed out of sight because they've all to be accounted for.

don't really watch it anymore, used to when we were much younger

i honestly believe that if gaybo had stayed at the late late, we could have avoided 9/11

Pat was the mastermind behind all the attacks.

Anyone remember when that really sarcastic child made Pat look like even more of an idiot than usual? I think it was last year or the year before.

Toy Show hasn't been the same without Gay and the proper Billie Barrys Kids.

Don't forget there is always one completely mad child from Kerry thrown in for good measure too.

These days it's good fun to sit back and watch the Toy Show while logged into boards... the thread cataloging the car crash of a show is always good for a laugh...

I love the Toy show ! In all my years of watching it (and it's been quite a few!) I always loved it. True gay was ten times better than the current gob sh1te but it's still good craic. And I too hated the Billy barry kids but they arent on it anymore. There are kids dancing schools from all over the country on it.

    Cant Wait!!!
