    I'll admit I don't know much about turbos or even cars so I don't know the technical reason it won't work :o
    Don't realy want to know either but it isn't obvious to everyone.

    The first one, the one with the sand into the intake is a hoax, not sure about the closed look combustion though

    @ micmclo - putting it simply, the standard internal combustion engine works by mixing air and fuel, sending it into the engine where it combusts and the remains are expelled through the exhaust. This guy thinks that he can just permanently recycle the exhaust fumes without using any fuel/air mixture in the first place.
    To make it even worse he thinks that there will be a performance gain from ruining his engine!
