    I just got a PS3 and have been playing COD4 on it. Today without thnking I stupidly switched off the console by the power switch at the back while I was connected to an online game. Now when I try to play an error occurs and I get disconnected from the Playstation Network and kicked out of the online lobby. Plus after being kicked out of the lobby and then quiting the game I found my self to be still on PSN. I haven't a clue what to do, any thoughts/opinions would be greatly appreciated:confused:

    power her off fully again, leave it 60 seconds, turn it back and see if its any better then

    I can't believe that worked:D, there's somthing to be said for the old turnoff, turn on method:p

    What seems to be the problem, the servers were down a few days ago but everything for me has been pretty much good since. Occasionally the game ends abruptly, i.e 'Host Ended Match' but that's it. Try differnt game types, Team Death Match doesn't always seem to work for me but Search & Destroy is also good and Sabotage is really intense aswell.
