Looking for a studio to hire!!!

    Hi there,

    I'm new in here so first of all, let me say Howdie to everybody.

    I would like to ask you about one small thing.

    I would need some experience in organising a studio shots and am willing to hire a studio to do this - is there any chance some of you know is it even possible to do it around Dublin? I know this might have been somewhere on boards already, but unfortunately couldnt find it.

    I need it for some project and would be very much interested in any info I might get.

    I've done some studio shoots before, but I'm not aware of any decent priced studios around Dublin. It's a shame really.

    I know of one or two studios at reasonable rates up north (NI)

    I'm subscribed to a email newsletter from Dave McKane of digitalbeginners.com and, in the latest missive, he wrote:

    Our studio is now available for hire on an hourly basis. Our standard rate is
    €35 per hour, but half and full day rates are also available. If you've never
    used a studio before I'll give you a quick 10 minute intro before you

    They're based on the Southside, Dublin 12?, and I don't know if €35 p.h. is expensive??

    At least it's a studio. I can rent a studio in NI for £15 per hour (about €23). Over a 3 hour shoot, it does make a difference.

    Also, have a look on Folio32, it's good for photographers, models, studio and such.
