Hi Guys hope you can give me a bit of help

I with drew some dollars from the atm and one of the 20 notes was a fake. I still have the note and the receipt of my transaction. Im pretty pissed off about this i mean it is a bank illegally circulating counterfit money. Do i have any options or do i just have to roll over and take it?

    Thanks

You should report it to the local police, and see from there.

Whether or not you have any chance of getting it back..well, I'd doubt it to be totally honest.

    Hey

Are you sure it is counterfit? Perhaps it is just within the issue dates / set of serial numbers that peruvians don't like to accept (cannae remember what they are).

If it is hold on to it and it will be accepted in Europe/US, if not, have no idea what you can do.

The AIB where caught passing out counterfeit $100 notes back in the 90's - not intentionally mind you. They had the good grace to be very embarrassed about it at the time. US paper currency is much easier to counterfiet then most other papaer currencies as they always seem to lag behind in paper security measures.

Where the notes $100? This particular denomination is notorious for being counterfieted - many places in the US don't like $100 bills for this reason.
