"Big Bang Baby" Seeks Big Bang Bassist

    Dublin based glam/grunge rockers “Big Bang Baby” aged between 22-24 seek bassist to complete line-up in the hope that we can recreate loud music, loud love and maybe more. Band has been together for approaching two years now and has gigged throughout Leinster for the majority of that time under the guise of “LPS”. We have recently recorded our first EP and are looking to re-launch ourselves under the new guise and with the addition YOU!

    Band’s main influences generally revolve around American rock bands such as Stone Temple Pilots, Foo Fighters, Incubus, Velvet Revolver, Nirvana, QOTSA, Pearl Jam, Alice In Chains, Soundgarden, Audioslave as well as the somewhat glamorous styling’s of the likes of Prince & Queen. Ultimately we aspire to write catchy, melodic tunes that unashamedly rock (originals only) and we will hope that you do too.

    Due to locational difficulties at present, we only get to practice on average once per fortnight in Dublin, but expect weekly practices come the new year. If you’re looking for a serious band with serious musicians, then we are not your band. However, if you’re looking to have a bit of a laugh and play some enjoyable rock music in a relaxed atmosphere then please listen to what you hear on the following website:

    We may not get an opportunity to get together until after Christmas, where we will be packaging and distributing are EP (note that the songs on this website may not appear on recently recorded CD) and getting some promotional shots taken and all that malarkey with the intention of securing a couple of supporting slots with decent sized acts, but an audition or two may be held before Christmas so that we can kick on.
