Free Blu-Ray Movie from Sony?

Did anyone else receive a free Blu-ray movie from sony for signing up to the PSN? I just received Casino Royal in the post this morning congratulating me for signing up and saying "here, have a free blu-ray movie". I thought my CC number was stolen and someone was ordering stuff with it.

Well it arrived this morning in the post. I knew nothing about it.
But I signed up to the PSN about 4 or 5 weeks ago when I bought my PS3

Lol I signed up the minute I got home from the midnight launch and still haven't got my copy! I even got the email from them saying I would. I'm not too pushed though, I've no great urge to own Casino Royale on blu-ray.

Yea I got Casino Royale free from them as well. Only annoying thing is I had the bloody thing already!!!

I got the Spiderman Trilogy Blu Ray boxset free with mine on purchase so it's new for me

yeah i got this, this morning as well. nice little sentiment, but already had it on dvd lol! wonder if theres much difference in picture/audio quality

The difference is massive if you are using a HDTV. Wonder if I will get a free movie from Sony.

I signed up when I bought my PS3 on release day... 8 months later and no Casino Royale.

I bought my PS3 a month ago and signed up then. I came home for lunch today and there was this package from Switzerland with the wavy background PS3 design thingy on the front. "What the...?" My wife gave out to me as I was opening it, asking me if I was ordering more bloody games and I was like, "No, I swear! I don't know what this is!"

Nice surprise. I have Casino Royale on regular DVD already, but the sentiment is still nice, just for signing up to PSN!

I have a HDTV but I've never played a hi-def movie on it. I'm gonna stick the blu-ray in the PS3 and the regular dvd in my DVD player and switch between the two to compare

If the quality is really that different, I'll have a problem on my hands. My surround sound setup is quite cheap and only works through the DVD player, not the PS3. So I can watch hi-def movies with regular stereo sound, or regular movies with surround sound

How can your surround sound not work with the ps3? just plug the red and white audio plugs from the ps3 in the back of it.

That'd still be stereo sound though (unless it's crappy old pro logic...)

I received my copy in the post today as well - but I already own it on DVD. Guess someone is getting Casino Royale for Christmas then (the DVD version that is:p:p:p)

I just went down to my post box a few minutes ago in my slippers and there was a copy of Casino Royale! Well I can't tell you how chuffed I was. I really wasn't expecting anything. I thought this promotion was over. Best of all is that I actually like the movie!
