Hi, My bud's ps3 has stopped reading disc's, he thinks it might have been after the 2.0 f/w update. Just wondering whats the standard warranty procedure and sending it back etc etc (its over a year old at this stage), thanks...

If there is even the slightest paw mark on the disc ,it wont play.
The ps3 will just freeze when the game goes to boot.
