Loan of face protection

Hey guys,

I'm having an Airsoft demo in college in two weeks time and I need to organise some face masks. I'd need maybe 10 but can't afford to buy them myself. I'm hoping to have the demo mid-week. Anyone want to offer a loan or tell me where I can get really cheap (but good) face protection.

Hopefully some of the lads that run a site might be willing to loan out a few

out of curiousity, what kind of demo you putting on and where is it gonna be? If your gonna use face masks does that mean you'll actually be firing bbs? and if so is it in a safe environment?

It will be a mini skirmish in our sports hall, with tables on their sides and notice boards as obstacles etc. People will be able to have a go @ €5 for 100 bb's as it is a fund raiser. We hope to have 6 players at a time and one of us marshalling. Will prob be a capture the flag game. We already have the go ahead from the college. They also said we could use the sports hall for mini skirmishs/training for exsisting members when ever we wanted

Up until the point they relise what BB's fired from a Aeg do to plaster on walls.

Thats pretty sweet, obviously you'll want to avoid directly firing at the walls to avoid causing damage, and dont forget to bring a huge sweeping brush....


now if only we could get them to let you use the entire college as a skirmish site...

Make sure to wrap thick cardboard around the tips of the legs of the tables and anything else that may cause an injury if someone should run into or fall against it. You should also make sure you cover windows and any spectators will have to be wearing masks aswell.

thats a cool idea,plaster and windows should make for intrestin play,
but question if your playing indoors how many ppl will be present ,
do everybody involved understand how bbs tend to bounce off walls and solid ob jects ,how far have you's thought the saftey through,indoors has it difficulties everybody involved will need masks including spectators

I'm in IT Carlow,

Regarding Spectators, the gym on the second floor overlooks the hall. So they can watch from there.

There are no windows, so that's covered.

eirsoft sells full face masks for around 15 euro,only takes 2-5 working days for them to be sent.

The walls are like concrete blocks, no plaster really. You can't hurt a concrete block with an airsoft gun, no matter what the tabloids would want you to believe

Send a pm to nonex, or the HRTA site email. I can't speak for him, but if you agree to pimp his site at the event he might be able to loan you the masks. It seems like a reasonable request.
