I have a packard bell pc computer, ive had it a number of years now, anyway to cut a long story short, I used a dodgy exstention lead to plug it in & while i was using the computer the power just went all of a sudden, there is still power running through the monitor..but there is no power running through the tower whatsoever..its been like this now for the last 2days

any suggestions what might be wrong with it?
and can it be repaired ?

    any help would be appreciated

PSU can be replaces easy enough. I'd check the fuse in the plug for the machine before you go any furhter.
