After just getting sky hd installed on monday and the engineer refusing to show us how you use it am just getting to grips with it now. Can someone tell me why Im asked for my pin no. on certain movie channels? Cheers

It's to do with the new age restriction feature, lets you watch 15+ movies before the watershed... it's quite handy actually.

I know you can set restrictions , in services and parental control , but dont know if you can turn that pre watershed thing off , it might be a condition of transmission , never tried to turn it off myself as there are wee people in the house.

No, it cannot be disabled. As mathias said, it's a condition of transmission.
