Postman called to the door with a delivery from eshooby Asia
    about 10 minutes ago.
I ordered a spare mag for my P226 and M9 and a mid cap for my
AUG as the Hi-cap is fecked.

Had the P226 mag in my hands and decided to pull back the
magazine spring to load a few BB's and accidently let it go.
Snap! the top of the mag feeder and spring broke off flew across the room and out the window. after a searching found the pieces am left with below.
I may see is superglue will work on it later.

Lesson of the day for me be careful with empty mags and be careful
relaseing the pressure on the spring.

interesting... I've done that plenty of times with my mags before and never had a problem, the load ramp (the bit you broke off) can be very fragile if dropped alright though, ive broken one or two that way before, you may have just been unlucky

a bit of superglue should be sufficient to fix it for now, just be sure it is aligned correctly or you'll have feed problems, new load ramps are available online handy enough too

If there is that much force in the spring, maybe Araldite (epoxy) is your best bet. - I'll have some at HRTA on Saturday if you need it.

Maybe it was damaged in transit and that was the straw that broke the camels back?

I like to put my thumb in the line off fire at the top of the mag, so if its released, it has a nice squishy thumb to hit, and not break.

Also the bonus is the pain of it stops you doing it again!

hate that mate, if you gonna glue it though id recommend the apoxy, Ive used it a lot with cars (repaired my loading muzzle with it the other day aswell) but if you use superglue first it may effect how the apoxy can grip the plastic.,
