Can anyone link me to a guide to installing a media server on Ubuntu that i can use to stream media to my PS3. A straightforward guide would be great as Im new to linux and still learning. Cheers

Type
sudo apt-get install gmediaserver
into a terminal window.

You'll find one from the menu on top.
Applications -> Accessories -> Terminal

Then edit two lines in /etc/default/gmediaserver
to point to the root directory of your media files,
and tell the server to start when you reboot.
