    Guys,

My cousin in England was telling me recently that Sky are giving free upgrades to Sky+ if you threaten to cancel.

Anyone heard if this is available here, (I know it is true as many UK boards have the details on them).

    Cheers!

    OK,

So for an update, bit the bullet and rang Sky. Threatened to cancel, and got a call back from Sky in Cork. They offered me a Sky+ box for €75 all in. No installation charge.

Bit their hand off to get it.

We will see what happens on Tuesday when the deliver it.

    Roy.

How did you get on with your deal from 13 years ago? :pac:

I needed to make 1 post to be able to send a message, so searched a forum ancient so no one would see it. Obviously I was wrong :D

We don’t drag up old threads

Because you never intended to contribute to a thread in the first place, and posted solely to fulfill a post count rule, you can take a 48 hour ban. If you come to this forum you are expected to contribute to the discussion. Since it’s taken you 13 years to rack up 26 posts, it’s probably not a sufficient punishment, but you can have it anyway.
