€80 - 90? off the top of my head, the best i can think of is the 2gb Zen Stone Plus for €70:

    Theres also the Zen V+ 1gb & 2gb for €95 and €100 respectively

    Sandisk e260

    95e or so including postage.

Very nice for the money if you ask me.

Would you say this has a simple enough menu system?

seems a good price and is expandable memory, and good battery life. It is for somebody in their 60's, uses PCs but but want something easy enough to navigate.

yep, it has a very straight forward GUI, you can preview it at currys or dixons if you have time..
