Live in the US but will be coming home in the summer for good.
after firing a number of guns i was really impressed with alot of the older stuff, M1 carbines and lee enfields and stuff.
so, whats the legality behind a 303 enfield. is it really tough to get a license on such a large military round. it would only be for target shooting. not interested in hunting, especially with a 303
also, are they hard to come by and are they expensive
    thanks alot

Although not exactly as per request, I recently found these on the net and I think they are the proverbial "canis testiculi".

As said in other threads about different types of firearms, as long as you have a resonable purpose to have a particular firearm along with a place, such as hunting grounds etc or a club range to use it, there shouldn't be a problem, I didn't.

Here's a couple of photo's of mine, shoots like a dream out to 200yds, cost approx €450.

Jim Halpin in Kerry and Jim Griffin of The Tackle Shop near Tullamore might have some, check them out.
