So its my friend Jacqui's birthday tomorrow, and we all went out to Indie Spice in Swords for an Indian to celebrate tonight.

I'm in the taxi on the way to Swords, and yer man is chatting away, and he mentions that he was pissed off he didnt get to go to the T4BB show over the weekend. Then he asked me had I heard the Joe Duffy show yesterday about all the lads in camo gear running around doing some kind of military demo. Sounds like a right laugh he said...would have loved to see them, he said.

So I told him I was one of the lads selling the Airsoft equipment, and he nearly had a canary. Taxi ride was free, and apparently meself and Derek are national celebrities now.

Oh...and he gave me his name, address, phone number and €150 for a DBoys M4 CASv.

Thanks Joe...I'll be sending you a Christmas card.

here is a strange one got a taxi from one part of tallaght to another,carrying my Aeg in a fishing rod cover (it does the Job) first thing the driver ask was i going shooting ,being honest i explained it was an airsoft aeg ,even showed him a copy of AI ,first thing he asked was whats the name of the website on he heard on the radio ,gave him Eirsoft and bfsl address ,got to my destination ,diriver is already talking what acessoroies he wants on his m4,

lads what have you's gone and done .were becoming mainstream

A few sales, but there's no way to tell if they came and bought because of Joe, or because of the exposure I got at T4BB. The hits on the site peaked at over 600 users though, about 10 minutes after Joe mentioned the URL.

I'd reckon that most of them just went there out of curiosity after Joe said "If you want to see what these things look like....", and had no intention of buying.

On a side note...you might all be interested to know how many of those 600 visitors sent me emails via the site expressing their alarm and horror that these things are available for sale.
