Colouring line art in photoshop

    Hi everyone. I've been using PhotoDraw for years to great effect but recently got Photoshop CS3. I'm a complete novice with this app but basically all I need is a step by step tutorial on how to paint a black and white line drawing using layers. I've exhausted all my options on Google and YouTube so can anyone help? Ideally I'd like a good DVD or just a good written tutorial would be top notch too.
