Do you mean commercially? Alcohol can't be sold after a certain time (11? It's 10 over here) in off-licenses and such. If you were selling it after midnight, it would be illegal. If you were just delivering pre-purchased alcohol, I don't see why there'd be a problem. However, if people knew they'd want a lot before the night got underway, surely they'd just buy it in the shop.

If you're looking to start some kind of business, I can't really see it succeeding.

Well firstly, you would have to attain some sort of licence to permit you to sell alcohol independently (Which I can't imagine would be too easy to get and if it was I'm sure you'd have to pay big bucks for it). Secondly, you would not be allowed to sell outsided licenced hours. After 11.30 weekdays and 12.30 on the weekends.

You would have to have a licence and it would depends on the hours on that licence! Plus the sale is taking place at the door after midnight so it would most likely not be cool!

I was in Newcastle a few years ago and after a night out we went back to the B&B/hotel. We fancied a bit of drinking and as there was no residents bar one of the girls rang this guy in a van that drove around delivering drink. It was brilliant!! like a booze taxi.

you could get people to have handed over the cash before midnight, say like a credit tab or something, and then deliver whatever they wanted when they rang, and then take it off their tab. of course you'd need a licence to sell booze first,, but a pub/offlicence could do it.

person comes in, sets up an account, hand over 100 quid for credit
rings at whatever day/time they want and ask for X
pub/offie drive out and drop off order
take price of X off their account

that wouldnt be legal.. if it was, you could be in a regular pub, give the bar man a €100, and drink all night till the wee hours.

A license stipulates the hours during which alcohol can be supplied..

Maybe if the OP, gave us more details of what he has planned.. he would be able to get more accurate answer
