13-11-2007 10:29pm#1Well, I did my deal with a first class operator this afternoon. Thanks to the recommendation of Casey711 on this thread, I decided to give a local dealer a try, and I'm sure glad I did. I visited the website of Sound Solutions, Gorey www.soundsolutionshifi.com and got their contact details. After a browse around their user friendly site. i spoke to a very helpful, polite lady who suggested I contact their Manager - Mr Bruce Sheldon on <snip> as he was on-site supervising an installation. Again, I found him polite & courteous. He was very well versed in the technical aspects I needed clarified and promptly came back to me with a competitive quotation including the cables, connectors etc that I required. He beat another retailer operating out of Belfast in overall price! That coupled with the fact that he had the items in stock, so I did not have to wait at least 2-3 days for delivery as was the case with the other provider I decided to pay them a visit.
He offered a demonstration. I took him up on his offer and he kindly left an installation to set up the kit and was present when I arrived. They operate out of very modern premises on the outskirts of Gorey town and have some top class HiFi equiptment available.
The demo was relaxed and informative in their state of the art dedicated demonstration room. i did my deal there and then, coming away a very satisfied customer.
It's a long time since I enjoyed such a high level of customer service and it bodes well for this man's business and makes a refreshing change. So rarely nowadays is it possible to enjoy this level of professional service, I give them 10 out of 10!

Yeah, would echo that. I've been dealing a bit with them lately ordering QED cables from their website (having found it listed here on boards.ie), and have had zero issues, and also quick responses to any e-mails I send looking for info or clarification. Free delivery in Ireland is also nice ! 0
