Best industry for temporary work

I just recently found out that my department where i currently work is being transferred abroad at the end of December. I'm going away for a year next June and now i'm caught in a dilemma of having to find work so i can continue saving, but only for 5 months. I was told by friends that i might be a bit over-qualified to just go work in a factory. I don't really mind what sort of work as long as it is decent enough money. So does anyone know the best route to take to find temporary work or would i be better off just not mentioning going away in interviews? Any opinions this are appreciated. Thanks.
