    please help folks

    I need to exchange about 30,000 EUR

    Anyone knows where I can get the best exchange rate in Ireland ? or will it be better to get them exchanged in UK ?

    any Ideas

    With this type of transaction, you simply need to ring a local branch for the 4 main banks and see what rate+charges they will apply. Then ring your bank in the UK and see what they say.
    A similar question has been posted here about once-twice a month, and I have not seen anyone give a definite answer on this one.
    IMO, AIB offer good rates.
