Just watched all of its always sunny in philadelphia, best thing to come out in ages, and before that arrested development. Anything else good on tv at the moment, or even in the last few years?

Most comedies are terrible at the moment, little britain and american office come to mind.

You don't like 'The Office'? Then you don't have a sense of humour.

Ah no.. but seriously, 'Its Always Sunny' and 'The Office' are two best comedies on telly right now.

agree with curb your enthusiasm(the ending of the last ep was genius) wouldn't say best comedy ever for seinfeld I love it but father ted, black books to name but a few, seinfeld/curb are the best american comedies ever not worldwide.

The IT crowd is very good. It can be a bit nerdy at time though.

I stand by my statement! ah no your right though, its impossible to differentiate shades of greatness and all of the programmes you mentioned are great too.

Oh and Op if you haven`t watched it before, I would highly reccomend checking out Reno 911 if you have the F/X channel... That is also filled with greatness!

    Yeah that one was brilliant.
    I'm disabled.
    Disabled how?
    Leg disabled.

    I nearly wet myself.

Also I completely forgot about black books (even though I just bought the 3 series the other day). It's a fantastic show.

You ahve to have a certian sense of humour to be able to handle the IT Crowd I think. I know plenty of people who hate it. I love it tho :D If you're into that kindof thing try Garth Marenghi's darkplace aswell.

How I Met Your Mother is one of my favourites, has a dumb laugh track but it doesn't need it. Neil Patrick Harris is absolutely legendary as Barney.

apart from it crowd, its always sunny, us office, arrested development etc, how about 30 rock, a bit hit and miss at times but some brilliant moments.

    tyres :P

yeah recently acquired the dvd with the commentaries and extras, Had never watched the series properly at the time, for such a simply made program it deserves the hype about it, so much fun.

I'd pick How I Met Your Mother also. Barney is legendary :)

And you're a fan of Superbad\Knocked Up type comedies, see if you can get Undeclared on DVD. It's a US series set in college which is also by Judd Apatow.

Just bought My Name Is Earl on dvd. I know it was on tv a while ago but if you havent watched it I'd recommend it. One of the freshest comedies I've seen in a while. Couple of guest stars you'd recognise as well if you're into other tv shows...;)

I'd second 30 Rock and Earl anyway. 2 of the best US sitcoms in production.

i've tried to watch 30 rock it seems as unfunny as the other tv show show
